I’m not a really X-Men follower because I’m more into The Avengers. But, it doesn’t mean I don’t like this movie. I am not the X-Men comic reader. My review is based about the movie itself.
I would like to say that I am really satisfied with the 9th X-Men series. The outline of the story very clear and without much of confusion.
It started around Pharaoh’s era. There’s a immortal mutant known as En Sabah Nur. Sounds so Malay. :v Probably you will connect this with illumination. En Sabah Nur played a role as a God for mutants and also the reason why Professor X is bold 😦 . Due to traitors, he was trapped for a time until he’s awaken on 1983 – where Cyclops and Jean are still young.
If this movie was compared to original adult X-Men, it might cause confusion for the characters – The origin of Storm, how’s Wolverine has been found with help from Jean, and also Nightcrawler’s origin. I don’t really recall status for Quick Silver on previous series.
I would rather said the appearances of all characters would be equal. When Wolverine made his cameo, one thing that crossed on my mind was – okay, the one and only X-Men’s character that didn’t change. 👏👏 Hugh Jackman has that copyright on Wolverine.
Action, it was okay. Not really much that attracted me to remember. Jean probably the main role this time. The saviour for Professor X. Oh not to forget, Nightcrawler too. Quick Silver is a fun guy.
Towards the ending, the relationship between Magneto and Professor X is good. Btw, the school has been repaired by Magneto. Does that mean the school belongs to Magneto? 😗 Mytisque thoughts the gang with skills. Which totally I believed was opposite from what I understood.
Overall, it’s a great movie for people and fans to enjoy. I love how it treated my brain’s neurons. 😘
