My Interview Session? Really Waste My Time!!

Ok, bermulah kisah aku utk diblogkan di sini. Hari ni aku pergi interview kat satu Advertising company kat Taman Molek, iaitu Endless Ads Markerting sebagai mana yg aku informkan kat previous post. Well, a day b4 nak p interview tu, mmg aku malas nak pergi.. macam kurang berminat.. Time apply tu pun macam nak tak nak je.. but nak try la jg, mana la tau company ni ok kot.. leh masuk dgn aku.. in the end, aku tawakal utk p interview.. bangun awal2, siap2 nk p…

Aku bertolak dalam pkl 10.25am sbb nak hntr adik aku kat Skudai Bus stop.. dia nk balik ipoh, bas dalam pkl 10.45am.. aku punya interview plak dlm pkl 11am-12pm seperti mana yg tertulis dalam email interview invitation tu.. tapi disebabkan xtau nak p cari Taman Molek tu, Baba sesat masuk taman lain.. tapi bila dah sampai Taman Molek plak, kitorg berpusing2 kat Taman Molek 1.. padahal, taman dia kena jalan terus lagi..

Akhirnya, aku jumpa juga Jalan Molek 1 /31.. terkejut juga bila nampak ada ramai org tunggu kat bawah pejabat tu.. yeap.. I’m rite.. ‘Interview Endless Ads’ terpampang kat situ.. well, kita tunggu org tu tu kasi borang.. terkejut juga bila dapat tau no.giliran aku over la dari 30.. perghhh.. lama la ni.. borang dia siapa ada test for Customer Service lagi.. erm… jawb aja.. hhahahhaaa.. Just imagine, I’m down there dari 11.25- 12.30.. 1jam juga oooo standing there with my high heel.. tapi xkisah, dh biasa.. hohoho… But I’ve to say this.. Their time management is so bad. They should started early if they know they will interview almost over 40 candidates.. Diorg cakap xjangka plak ramai yg dtg.. that is also prove of their unmanaged management. masa kat Iklan dia, dia tulis ‘Only Short list Candidates will be choosen’ .. so, patutnya, diorg dh tau berapa ramai candidates yg akan dtg that morning.. even they stated that interview session will be on 11am-12pm.. 1 hour with 40++ candidates?? at the same time, interview 1 by 1???? mmg la sampai pkl 2pm pun xsiap2 lagi.. nampak sangat diorg xbuat short-list pun.. habis semua yg apply diorg balun bagi interview session.. bad bad management. Bila diorg rasa dh lambat sangat, baru manager tu buat decision utk buat Group interview. Kenapa xnak buat bila dah tau ada ramai candidates?

Masa group interview ni,satu lagi yg nampak sangat xbetul ialah, ada sorg kakak ni apply post ‘Advertising Executive’, so bila Manager tu tanya, ‘Awak ada pengalaman ke dalam bidang Advertising ni??’, Kakak tu cakap,’Xde. saya xde pengalaman dlm bidang ni.’ Manager tu balas, ‘habis,kenapa awak apply this position??’, KakaK tu balas lagi,’Sbb saya nak mencuba cari pengalaman dan belajar..’ Manager tu lagi balas,’awak xboleh..sbb pengalama xde.. klu nak,kena start dari Junior Advertising Executive Trainee..’ Kakak tu macam xfaham dan xpuas hati sbb dia apply post Advertising Executive and was ‘SHORT-LISTED’ as candidate for that position… sambil tu aku cakap dlm hati,’No wonder aku receive 2 email from this company sbb aku ada hntr 2 email for applying positions as ‘Advertising Executive’ and ‘Junior AE Trainee’.. aku sengih je la mengenangkan benda ni.. yg paling lawak jawapan dari manager tu lepas akak tu tanya kenapa dia boleh dpt email interview invitation utk jawatan yg dipohon, Advertising Executive.. Balas jawapan yg kelakar bagi aku yg dinyatakan manager tu ialah “mustahil, awak xkan boleh dapat sbb awak xlayak..xboleh..mmh xboleh..” I said, “Oh come on, man. U shud know how ur HR handle this things rite? I believe it’s ur decision to decide on who and how u will give the email interview invitation.. obviously, it is forward invitation U’ll give to every1 that apply.. It’s better to give foward answer that giving something yg buat kakak tu terpingga2 pk..

lagipun, after interview session tu , bagi sesiapa yg berjaya diorg akan buat training pkl 2pm pada hari yg sama.. korg kena byr RM10 as  fee utk training tu.. erm… fee?? xpe la.. aku ada pendapat aku, company tu ada cara dia sendr.. tapi apa yg aku kurang seronok dgr ialah as Junior AE trainee, there is no basic salary only based on commission..Craps! Oh No!! aku kena lagi ke macam yg kat United Meteoric Group tu ke??? Man!!! At that time juga aku kata, this is totally waste my time!!! I came there with my dad from Skudai to Taman Molek, waiting for me almost 3 hours and eventually they doing groups interview after 2pm and this is what I got? Damn! i supposed to believe my intuition masa sesat jalan tu..”Balik je la.. rasanya mcm xberbaloi je..” It is better for them to inform on their vacancy ads. at least candidate can choose.. I know, this is part of Marketing Strategy too.. siapa nak p kan klu cakap Jr.AE trainee salary based on commission,rite? xpe la.. every company ada strategy masing2 but for me personally, it is totally waste my time because I’ve to wait almost 3hrs over that what they mention and information that I got. Maybe after ni aku malas kot nak apply any job yg related dgn ‘Trainee’.. sbb aku dh serik dah pergi interview2 yg berkali2 bagi aku macam ‘Aduh,tipah tertipu lagi’ .. It’s Ok.. pengajaran bagi aku dan aku leh cerita utk adik2 aku yg bakal melangkah alam dunia pekerjaan.

Apa2 pun, post yg aku tulis ni bukanlah utk menjatuhkan mana2 company or memburukkan nama mereka. It is part of my experience. pengalaman bagi aku utk dikongsi kepada mereka yg pernah ada pengalaman macam aku dalam mencari pekerjaan ni.

  1. UNITED METEORIC NI MENIPU KE? A.S.A.P COZ aku de second interview die siap cakap shortlist.. then lepas tanya gaji die cakap time interview yg second bru bg tau.. masalahnye ade ke die tetapkan 9am sampai 2petang tu interview mendenye.. ni company direct selling ke?
